"I have never experienced such gross incompetence and lack of accountability from an insurance agency. On 12/3/2025, a company truck ran a stop sign and hit me. The driver was issued a citation, which is clearly documented on the official crash report. Despite this, State Farm labeled ME at fault, causing my auto insurance premiums to increase by over $300 per month. This is not only wrong—it’s financially harmful. I texted Ron who I had known for 10 years that I was in a bad wreck and not even so much as a I am sorry to hear that, are you ok- He said nothing and ignored me. I repeatedly asked Ron Mathai, and his assistant, Laurie Bonnet, to provide a Letter of Experience to help correct the issue. They refused, despite knowing this is something they are legally obligated to provide. The lack of support was shocking. Communication over the past year has been horrible. Calls and emails routinely go unanswered for days. Money has been pulled from the wrong account, after repeated calls, emails and texts to the front office confirming the correct account to use. A roof discount that was supposed to be applied in December 2024 was ignored for an entire year, resulting in over $1,800 in overcharges. I was also never notified of my policy renewal—no mail, no email, no phone call—yet my premiums increased by over $800 annually without warning. On 12/29/2025, I requested to cancel all policies. Despite this, they still paid my homeowners insurance, and I now need a full refund immediately so my escrow does not increase. I also requested a breakdown of what I paid over the last year, which they again ignored and refused to provide. This agency has caused a significant financial burden and stress on my family for over a year. The lack of communication, transparency, care, and basic competence is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for insurance representation."

"Dear Brianna, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Regarding the accident on 12/3/2025, we understand how stressful such situations can be. State Farm’s claims department was actively reviewing the claim, and as of the last update, a final determination of liability had not yet been made because you filed a claim against your policy vs. the at-fault party so it look longer for the Claims department to gather enough details to confirm this. The Claims department communicated regularly with you during this process and we explained that the Letter of Experience would also indicate you were not at-fault due to recent accident. Please note that the claims you choose to file under your own policy may appear on reports such as CLUE, which can impact premiums, but do not automatically indicate fault. In this case, the Claims department also confirmed that the CLUE report would eventually indicate you were not at-fault after the Claim was finalized. It just required your patience as it was still in process. On the topic of discounts and premiums, some programs, like the Drive Safe and Save discount, require active participation to remain in effect. We encourage customers to stay engaged with these programs to receive their full benefits. There were multiple reminders my team and State Farm sent you to complete your process. Regarding the roof discount, our records show that the refund check had been issued to you and it was cashed by you, prior to the date of your review. Additionally, as you opted for paperless statements through your online account, renewal notices and policy documents were sent electronically. We always recommend ensuring your contact information is current to avoid missing important communications as our office can't override your required preferences. Concerning payments, your mortgage company processed the homeowners insurance renewal two weeks prior to you submitting your cancellation request. Refunds are issued on a prorated basis for any unused coverage following cancellation, which is standard industry practice. We suggest coordinating with your mortgage company to adjust your escrow account accordingly. Our team strives to respond promptly to all customer inquiries. While occasional delays may occur during weekends or holidays, we have reviewed our records and believe we addressed your communications in a timely manner. "Absolute worst service. My car was being repaired for a minor incident that took 90 days. I tried to engage my agent 3 times to advocate on my half to hep get the issue resolved. No response from Ron. His office advised I should not expect a call from him as he only focuses on sales. Horrible treatment from State Farm a Ron for a 26 year client paying $1600 a month in premiums."
